We left Zurich just before noon on the 1st August 2008 headed for Geneva. In fact we were heading for Nantes! Some close to a thousand kms away. We were going to take it easy. We might sleep along the way, if we cannot reach nantes (940km) away by midnight. Our target was to go through a few more cities in Switzerland and France but not Paris. So we decided to head for Bern and Geneva in Switzerland and will take Lyon and a few other cities in France. We stopped in Bern just for a very short time - no pictures. Along the way we had some stops and captured some nice sceneries. When we reached Geneva, it was going to rain and just about when we want to enjoy the lake, the rain fell heavily. We had kebab and continued the journey to Lyon when the rain stopped.
